Using Microsoft Azure Products with AnswerHub

Overview of Microsoft Azure Products with AnswerHub

For on-premise customers, if you want to install AnswerHub using Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Key Vault, then you will need to contact your Customer Success Manager and request for the Microsoft Azure Setup Guide.

Microsoft Azure Products with AnswerHub

You might be using the following features with AnswerHub:

• Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Azure Search plugin (enabled in the Manage Plugins menu in the admin console)
• Azure Storage plugin (enabled in the Manage Plugins menu in the admin console)

If your team will be using any of the features above, please contact your Customer Success Manager to request the Microsoft Azure Setup Guide. Different environments might require enabling or disabling of one or two of the Azure plugins.

Configuring Azure Storage Plugin

1. Navigate to your Azure portal.
2. Then navigate to the Storage Accounts menu on the left-side panel.

• You will see a list of all the accounts you have on the Storage Accounts page.

3. Click on the name of the account you need to configure.
4. Under settings, navigate to the Access Keys menu in your Azure portal.

• Copy the storage account name from the Access Keys page.

5. In your admin console, navigate to the Site > Optimization > Azure Storage page.

• Paste the copied content into your AnswerHub admin console Account text field on the Azure Storage page.

6. Navigate back to the Access Keys menu in your Azure portal.

• Copy any of the two keys on the Access Keys page.

7. In your admin console, navigate back to the Site > Optimization > Azure Storage page.

• Paste the copied contents into the account Key text field on the Azure Storage page.

8. In your Azure portal under Blob Service, click on the Containers menu then choose the name of the container you need.

• Copy the name of the container.

9. In your admin console, navigate back to the Site > Optimization > Azure Storage page.

• Paste the copied content into your AnswerHub admin console Container text field on the Azure Storage page.
