Here you can view analytics data for actions pertaining to site, content, user, and create unique advanced reports. Ensure you grant the Use API permission for the Analytics plugin to work properly for all applicable site admin users who will use Analytics.

Overview

The Advanced Analytics page provides parameters to choose different options per listed category. You can choose specific parameters based on data, time period, graph rate, groups, spaces, content types, actions, question status, author usernames, and vote type filtering.

Data Parameters

The types and the total number of parameters are dependent on the first selection from the Data drop-down. Note that anytime you use the word popular for parameters, it measures according to this formula: the system counts user interactions per node. Interactions include answering, commenting, voting up, voting down, accepting an answer, favoriting any content, viewing content, editing content. The system considers the nodes with the most interactions the most popular.

Select from the following Data categories to determine the other available configurable fields:

Audience Data Category

  • Traffic Report: Identifies the number of users interacting with your community within specified parameters.
  • Karma Report: Identifies the number of top users based on their reputation points within specified parameters.
  • Unique Users: Identifies the number of individual users within specified parameters.
  • User Joining Site: Identifies the number of new users within specified parameters.
  • Users with Popular Content: Identifies users with popular content within specified parameters.

Content Data Category

  • Content Overview: Provides an overview of specific actions performed for different content types within specified parameters.
  • Questions by Space: Identifies the number of questions by space within specified parameters.
  • Question by Topics: Identifies the most active topics within specified parameters.
  • Popular Questions: Identifies the popular questions within specified parameters.
  • Ideas by Space: Identifies the number of ideas by space within specified parameters.
  • Ideas by State: Identifies the ideas by the state within specified parameters.
  • Ideas History: Identifies the state change history for ideas within specified parameters.

Engagement Data Category

  • Average Time to Correct Answer: Identifies the average time to achieve a correct answer (accepted answer) within specified parameters.
  • Average Time to First Answer: Identifies the average time to achieve the first answer within specified parameters.
  • Most Active Content: Identifies the most active content within specified parameters.
  • Most Viewed Content: Identifies the most viewed content within specified parameters.
  • Time on Page: Identifies the number of views and the average time (in seconds) spent on pages within specified parameters.
  • Votes: Identifies the number of votes per content within specified parameters.
