101 Intro to the AnswerHub Platform and Effects from Administrative Features

This portion of the training provides an in-depth overview of the community user facing front-end of AnswerHub as a whole. This section also describes how the administrative features in the admin console effect some community user facing features in the AnswerHub platform. We break this section in to two pages:

  • Describing the AnswerHub Platform
  • Key Areas and Configurations for Administrative Features in the Admin Console

The purpose of this training serves three primary points:

  1. Foundation: It lays the foundation for beginning to set up a new community. This gives customers a solid understanding of all the user-facing features AnswerHub offers and how they relate to one another.
  2. Custom work: To do custom work, you should have an understanding of our terms and how the features relate. For both teams to work smoothly together they will scope out a requirements document.
  3. Growth: We do not enable/leverage all features initially. As a community grows and evolves over time post-launch, we can introduce some out-of-the-box aspects of AnswerHub that weren't initially vital to the success of the community long-term, to support new end-user needs. By laying out all the standard offerings, community admins will be aware of these various features and functionality. You can turn them back on to continue to meet those needs while still providing a seamless experience all in the same community.
