2.28.12 Release Notes
November 29, 2022
Summary
The 2.28.12 release provides the ability to wikify articles as well as several minor maintenance updates. Greater work continues on updates to Advanced Analytics in an upcoming feature release.
New Feature
A user will now have the option to wikify an article if it is their own article, or article published by another depending on the “Convert own posts to community wiki” found in standard roles, or the “mark as wiki” permission found in other standard roles.
A NEW permission to Edit Articles marked as community wiki in the Other Standard Roles Section of permissions will be added immediately after the “edit any questions marked as wiki”. This will allow users or groups to be selected to edit articles that have been marked as wiki.
Other Updates
- We resolved an issue that wasn't allowing comments to show or expand when visiting a direct link to an answer. Clients should now be able to view the comments when clicking on the Comments link.
-On the daily/ weekly digest, when articles are part of a parent-child relationship, the parent title was being listed instead of the title of the actual article that was posted and mentioned in the digest. This has been resolved with the 2.28.12 release.
- In this release, we also resolved an issue where clicking on a comment in the idea index page took users to a wrong node. Now users will be redirected to the idea page where the comment was made.
-We have removed our Slack V1 plugin as it is now obsolete. We have our new V2 two-way Slack integration. Interested in checking it out? Click here.
