Summary

The 2.21.3 release of AnswerHub includes minor enhancements and maintenance updates

ChangeLog

• MSAH-1782 Resolved 500 errors with blank search

• ANSUP-14148 Updated UI to resolve user confusion on appearance of being able to create a new topic when the create topic permission is not granted

• MSAH-1835 Resolved formatting issue where tables with many columns could extend beyond edge of posts and overlap custom web panels in right nav

• ANSUP-13420 Revised logic in user count on topics page to reflect only users who used the topic when creating primary content (questions, articles, ideas) or who added the topic to existing content. The logic now excludes users who answer or comment on content marked with a topic as a "user" of that topic. This change should help clear up confusion for clients who are using the users related to a topic as a measure of relevance that is complementary to the number of pieces of content that are tagged with a given topic.

• ANSUP-14239 Resolved issue where create topic permission setting was not being respected when adding topics to existing child articles. The setting was respected during creation of the article and only became an issue once the parent / child linkage to another article was used and then topics were subsequently edited on the child article.

• A change was made to available options for the default sorting of answers in list views to align with the 3 possible user selectable sorts on the front end. The admin setting for the default sort previously included a number of non-applicable options. Logically, an option should not be offered that a user could not return to after making an alternate selection through the UI.
