2.20.0 Release Notes

Summary
The 2.20.0 release of Answerhub includes a feature update to the Froala editor and a number of maintenance updates.

Updated Features

The Froala editor which was first introduced in the 1.8.0 release of AnswerHub has been updated to the latest version and provides for the availability of many exciting new features including an expanded tool bar, increased selection of fonts, sizes, colors and support for sub and superscripting. There are additional features related to image styling, positioning, and even an inline image editor to allow the user to modify images they upload to add overlays, callouts, etc to aid comprehension.
The availability of features on the toolbar is controlled through the sanitization settings page in the admin.

2.20.0 updates include the following:

  • ANSUP-13654 - Resolved an edge case search error when the user ID and the question ID were the same integer.

  • ANSUP-13469 - Updated displayed survey / poll results as whole number % instead of decimal value - 33% vs 33.3333333%

  • ANSUP-13163 - Removed inapplicable sort / filter options from Topics page in the admin.

  • ANSUP-14110 - Addressed styling issues when using bottom right column location for custom web panels

  • MSAH -1799 - Addressed issue that if a parent node is deleted, child nodes (answers / comments) are also deleted automatically (expected behavior), but were not automatically undeleted if the parent node is undeleted.

  • ANSUP-13705 and ANSUP-14072 - Corrected issue - when receiving notification about child article, the notification reflects the parent article title.

  • Corrected a prior limitation in the Froala implementation where deleting an image from a post did not automatically remove it as an attachment.
