2.18.3 Release Notes

Summary

We have multiple maintenance & accessibility updates in this 2.18.3 version of AnswerHub!

Enhancements:

  • Added the ability for moderators to send articles and ideas to moderation from the gear menu. Now Ideas and Articles can be managed like questions and sent to moderation, and then re-published to the community. Look for new permissions "publish any idea", "publish any idea comment", "Send already published idea to moderation", "Reject a moderated idea", "Send already published Idea comments to moderation", "reject a moderated idea comment", " Send already published article to moderation", "Reject a moderated article" added to the Custom Roles section of permissions to support configuration of moderation workflows for Ideas and Articles in the updated full permission list.

  • Improved accessibility support for survey / poll date picker. This work establishes this date selection component as the new standard to be used throughout AnswerHub to improve consistency of experience for the admin. There are multiple locations where date selection widgets are available in the admin and these will be updated in future releases.

  • ANSUP-12303 Updated French translations for Ideas
  • MSAH-1700 Accessibility - Keyboard focus not going to image to allow complete viewing
  • MSAH-1711 Accessibility - Keyboard focus going to background controls when opening preview and re-size popup - unable to view entire image without using scrollbars.
  • MSAH-1228 Adding a topic twice in a post while using the mouse removes the first instance of the topic
  • MSAH-1715 Accessibility - Screen reader is not reading the "place comments under" label for combo box when focus shifts to it.
    MSAH-1737 Accessibility - When zoomed to 200% focus is going to top of the page when side navigation is closed with Esc when expanded
    ANSUP-12475 Addressed sort consistency issues with leaderboard plugin
    ANSUP-13796 Ensure updated user extended properties appear properly on user profile page

Analytics -

  • Updates to ensure user count widgets on main dashboard, site, and user dashboards accurately reflect user count, deducting users in "deactivated" state.

  • Corrected reporting of unanswered questions in advanced analytics
