Summary

We have several fixes and updates in this 2.11 version of AnswerHub!

New and Updated Features

We have added the following new features to AnswerHub:

  • WMD Markdown Editor update – Images may now be copied and pasted into the editor. This extends upon recent updates to support drag and drop of images to improve user experience. To learn more please visit here.
  • Import / Export of Topics – This new feature enables the admin to export a CSV list of all topics in the system, modify the topics and their relationships through updates to the CSV and then Import the file for easy updates. This is a benefit for communities that contain large numbers of topics and need an easy way to add, delete, merge, update descriptions, add topic icons and create or update parent / child relationships of topics.   • Custom HTTP Header Length – Implemented an environment setting that can be used during AnswerHub deployment to configure the maxHttpHeaderSize parameter in the Tomcat server, so that headers larger than 8192 bytes can be used.
  • On Line Notifications - (Closed BETA / Q3 Planned GA) - UI change to notification control panels in admin and user preferences pages are introduced in preparation of upcoming GA of In-App / Online notifications. This feature is being initially released as a closed BETA with planned GA during 3Q2020). To learn more please visit here.

-ANSUP-9577: AutoSave is lost if publication starts but does not complete.
-ANSUP-12445: Hover on user tagged within a post leads to error.
-ANSUP-12508: Search not always returning most relevant results.
-ANSUP-12864: All new users get their preferred language set with Portuguese.
-MSAH-853: On load, place focus on sort button if the URL has sort information.
-MSAH-1185: WMD Editor - Multiline text gets merged into single line.
-MSAH-1243: LI elements must be used semantically.
-MSAH-1256: Auto save dialog for draft Answer always pops up.
-MSAH-1258: Auto Save - Character limit error shown when loading autosaved comment.
-MSAH-1286: Using autosave, multiple clicks needed to dismiss modal for ideas/articles comments.
-MSAH-1289: Auto Save - Edit question adds Tags multiple times.
